Singer, songwriter, actor, writer and producer. Jeremie G. Roberts aka “Zjae” was born Feb.19, 1977 in Houston, TX. Jeremie started entertaining at a very early age and he always knew that was his heart’s desire. He saw the joy that entertainers brought to people’s lives and Zjae knew he wanted to be a part of that.

Once at the age of 10 at Disney World, he found himself doing what was called back then the “centipede.” People crowded around him and cheered him on. Even though doing that dance on a concrete sidewalk wasn’t ideal, Zjae ignored the pain because he saw that it brought joy to the people around him. “If I can take people away from their hardships in life for a brief moment and bring joy and hope to them, then I feel like I’m serving my purpose in life” Zjae says.

He’s won several awards for singing from local and state levels and has appeared on one of cable’s nationwide networks, BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel. Zjae has shared the stage with such acts as Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary and Donnie McClurkin. He also enjoyed being a part of Houston’s own National Gospel Recording Artists The Soul Influence. During that time they were 2002 CAMA Award Winners for Best Contemporary Group of the year.

Zjae has appeared in several TV commercials and in movies, including HBO’s miniseries, John Adams. Throughout the course of his life Zjae has seen several heartaches and knew that it was God that has brought him through. “In spite of me, God still keeps blessing me”, Zjae says.
